Our sources tell us that Mathis called a high ranking RSL exec last month, inquiring about the possibility of returning to the team. Mathis asked if he could talk to Dave Checketts directly about the move. Clint said he’d be willing to play for much less than he did the first time around, like in the 75K range.

Clint and his wife really liked the SLC area, and they still keep a house in Park City.
